1937-42 Willys Rear View Mirrors

The pictures below of the 1937-1940 Mirrors and stem bolts including measurements are from Rob Pridge’s collection of Willys parts in British Columbia, Canada. Two sets of pictures on the 1941-42 Oval Rear View Mirror include my own Willys 41-42 Oval Rear View Mirror from my old 38 Willys Pickup and a set which is currently owned by Ron Ellis, kindly shared with me.

if you need to make a rear view mirror stem mount a 3 1/2 inch long stainless or ordinally bolt bent 90 degrees at approximately 3 inches from the thread end and then thread the end of the 90 degree short piece to connect to the Speedway Mirror or a mirror of your choice which offers the right back attachment so the mirror can be adjusted.  Starter guidance

1937-42 Willys Rear view Mirror 90 Degree Ball Mirror Mount Bolt Stem

The bolt is a 5/16-18 Course Thread, 3 Inches long to the center of the 90 Degree Bend and original Willys Mirror Mount Ball.  There is approximately 2 1/4 inches of 5/15-18 thread on the Mirror Mount 90 Degree Bolt. 

This simple 90 Degree Ball Mirror Mount Bolt was used on all 1937-42 Willys Rear View Mirrors. 1937-1940 Willys Rear View Mirrors Willys offered a large rectangular, 5 inch x 2 1/2 inch rear view mirror.  Beginning in 1941 and 42 Willys went to a simple oval shaped Rear View Mirror.

The bolt is a 5/16-18 Course Thread, 3 Inches long to the center of the 90 Degree Bend and original Willys Mirror Mount Ball.  There is approximately 2 1/4 inches of 5/15-18 thread on the Mirror Mount 90 Degree Bolt. 

This simple 90 Degree Ball Mirror Mount Bolt was used on all 1937-42 Willys Rear View Mirrors.  for 1937-1940 Willys rear view Mirrors Willys offered a large rectangular rear view mirror.  Beginning in 1941 and 42 it went to a simple oval shaped Rear View Mirror. The 1937-40 mirror dimensions were 5 inches x 2 1/2 inches  (rectangle shape).

1937-42 Willys Vanity Mirror for the Sun Visor

The simple 1937-42 Willys Vanity Mirror was a clip on affair 5 3/4inches x 4 inches and was normally attached to the passenger side Sun Visor.
